GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY HOSTS TWO DAY RACING WEEKEND INCLUDING NASCAR MODIFIED & SPORTSMAN PLUS VINTAGE SATURDAY – ENDURO & VINTAGE ON FRIDAY
THE EXCITING 410 SPRINTS IN PENNSYLVANIA SPEEDWEEK ARE NEXT ON TUESDAY JULY 1
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It will be a busy stretch of racing action, with three events in five days starting this weekend at Grandview Speedway!
The weekend of racing action begins with the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars in action on Friday, June 27 in a program that starts at 7 pm.
Pit gates open at 2 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm. Grandstand admission will be $10, with children ages 12 and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.
Grandview Speedway will then present a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program on Saturday, June 28 featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman along with a Saturday night visit by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.
The June 28 race meet will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 15-lap Vintage main event.
This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber. The drivers scheduled to participate include T.P. Trailer Modified driver Eddie Strada and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman driver Nathan Mohr.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area starting at 5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
The weekend action will be followed by a Thunder on the Hill Racing Series event on Tuesday, July 1 with a visit by the powerful 410 Sprint Cars of the Pennsylvania Posse in the 35th running of PA Sprint Car Speed Week. The Speed Week event at Grandview is titled the Hodnett Cup and salutes the late driver who is one of the all-time winningest 410 Sprint drivers in Grandview history. The program will be sponsored by Alpine Building Supply and pay the winner of the 35-lap 410 Sprint Car main event a healthy $10,000!
The Tuesday night show will also include the 358 Modifieds in a NASCAR point event which includes qualifying races and a 30-lap $3000 to win main event. Alpine Building Supply has once again posted a first time Thunder Series winner’s bonus of $2000, making for a possible $5000 payday for the 358 Modified feature event!
Advance tickets are available for the PA Speed Week event by calling the Thunder on the Hill ticket line at 443-513-4456. Please speak clearly and leave your name and the number of tickets you will need for the July 1st event. You may then pay for and pick up the tickets on race night at the will call window at 4:15 pm. Advance ticket holders will be able to enter the grandstands starting at 4:30 pm, with general admission tickets going on sale and grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, with race time set for 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission will be $30, children 6-11 are $10, while kids 5 and under will be admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $45 and a license is not required.
Following last Saturday’s race program, John Willman picked up the feature win to become the fifth different winner of the season in the T.P. Trailer Modified division, joining Brian Hirthler, point leader Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, and Jeff Strunk as 2025 feature winners.
Joining these five drivers will be top point drivers Mike Gular, Louden Reimert, Jared Umbenhauer, Craig Von Dohren, Logan Watt, Duane Howard, Eddie Strada, Doug Manmiller, Kyle Smith and nearly three dozen competitors looking to join the winner’s list this Saturday night.
The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman saw Jesse Landis become the season’s first repeat winner, when he scored the win in the second of the Twin 20-lap feature races last Saturday. Addison Meitzler joined the winners list after capturing feature number one, joining point leader Colin Cox and Lawson Szerencits who are also feature winners this season.
These four drivers will be joined by top point performers Mike Schneck Jr., Nathan Mohr, Kenny Gilmore, Dylan Swinehart, Mike Stofflet, Brett Gilmore, Gavyn Krupp, TJ Mayberry and three dozen drivers who will also be looking to reach victory lane this Saturday night.
Next Saturday, July 5 will be T.P. Trailer & Truck Equipment Night with a NASCAR double-header featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds & T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman starting at 7:30 pm.
