22 DIFFERENT WINNERS SO FAR THIS SEASON IN SATURDAY NIGHT NASCAR STOCK CAR RACING AT GRANDVIEW; WILL THERE BE MORE TONIGHT DURING HATFIELD QUALITY MEATS NIGHT?

Talk about competitive racing, Grandview Speedway certainly has it this season. There have been 22 different feature winners spread over the three divisions of NASCAR stock car racing. Again tonight there will be three exciting divisions of stock car racing with the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds topping the show and joined by the BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. So the big question is will there be more new winners to add to the list?

There are at least 12 events of racing scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. with spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. The weekly Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet goes off at 5 p.m. at the main gate and features three race car drivers and their cars on display. A chance for fans to take pictures, collect autographs and see the race cars up close.

Hatfield’s official mascot will be there tonight to shoot t-shirts and hot dogs into the stands. There will be sample food items in the first turn grandstand area early in the evening.

The Modifieds top their part of the night’s racing with a 30-lap feature starting 28 cars while the Late Models and Sportsman each race in 25-lap features. Point leaders are Jeff Strunk in the Modifieds, Chuck Schutz in Late Models along with Jordan Henn in Sportsman.

The Outlaw Enduro and Blast From the Past Vintage doubleheader planned for Sunday has been cancelled due to concerns about the high temperatures that are expected.
