45TH CONSECUTIVE SEASON OF STOCK CAR RACING SET TO OPEN AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA March 2, 2007 . . . Another exciting season of Saturday night stock car racing action is ready to get underway at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway.

It is an open practice session with fans admitted free. Everyone entering the competition pit area will be required to purchase a pit pass.
Then on Saturday, April 7th, the chase for the championship gets started when the NASCAR Modified stock cars and NASCAR Late Model stock cars perform in a doubleheader program that will see the Modifieds racing in a 40-lap feature.
Racing on opening night will get the green flag at 7 p.m. with a large field of Modifieds and Late Models expected to be trying for opening night victories.

The Saturday night stock car racing action will get the green at 7 p.m. throughout the month of April.
Returning to sponsor the ?Hard Charger? award for the NASCAR Modifieds will be Cornerstone Auto Sales of Fleetwood, PA. They will be presenting $50 to the driver improving the most positions, from official starting position to official finishing position, in the feature racing event.
New this year will be Cornerstone Auto Sales sponsorship of a $50 ?Hard Charger? award for the Late Models.
Mike Kramer, co-owner of Cornerstone, was so impressed with the results of his participation in the sponsorship program last season, he suggested doubling the award so that the Late Models would be included. According to Mike, Cornerstone was able to sell a lot of cars last year because of the exposure generated at Grandview Speedway.
