FIREWORKS, LATE MODEL 40 LAPPER, 358 MODIFIEDS, BIKE AND NASCAR TRAIN GIVEAWAY ALL PART OF SATURDAY, JULY 6TH EXCITEMENT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA
~ The Holiday weekend at Grandview Speedway will include a
spectacular Fireworks show on Saturday, July 6th, along with the
annual Firecracker 40 for Late Models and racing for the always exciting NASCAR
358 Modifieds. Thomas Hartnett and Thrivent Financial of Lansdale, PA will
sponsor the night. Also included in the night of fun will be a bicycle giveaway
put together by Late Model racer Kory Fleming with six lucky youngsters going
home with bikes. Henning Trains of Lansdale will give away three NASCAR Lionel
trains (two Tony Stewart and one Kyle Busch trains) to lucky fans. The trains
are valued at $300.

 The Firecracker 40 is the big event
of the season for the Late Model racers and a strong field of entries is
expected to be on hand to challenge point leader Chuck Schutz and other Late
Model standouts such as Mike Kellner, Sam Schlosberg, Ron Kline, Sam Schlosberg,
Wayne Pfeil, Rick Todorow and others.

 In the Modified action Duane Howard,
the point leader, will be trying for his seventh win of the season and will have
plenty of competition from such outstanding talents as Craig VonDohren, Frank
Cozze, Meme DeSantis, Jeff Strunk, Mike Gular, Jon Kellner and
others.

 At least 10 events of stock car
racing will be featured starting at 7:30 p.m. with spectator gates open at 5:30
p.m. A driver meet and greet will be staged at the main gate at 5:30 p.m.
Admission for adults is $25 while youngsters 6 through 12 will pay just $5 and
kids under 6 are admitted free. Pit admission is $30 but a NASCAR pit license is
required.
