NEETS slated to run full schedule at Grandview Speedway

Bechtelsville, PA- Running the first full-blown season since 2007, the North East Enduro Tour Series, commonly known as “NEETS”, is back in action, this season at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania.

After holding two successful events at the track last season, NEETS Promoters Joe Cutri and Erin Bartley have joined forces with the Rogers family at Grandview for eight races this year.  The announcement marks the first in the series’ history that it will run an entire season at a dirt track.

“The show itself is a building block for the upcoming NEETS schedule”, said Cutri.  “We’re anticipating growing car counts as the season progresses and with a track such as Grandview, the possibilities are endless- both the series and the track seem to gel really well together and I’m thankful that the Rogers family gave the series a try, and now a full run for this season”.

It’s not the first time that the series seemed in need of a new home.

The NEETS “touring” series began in 2003 and ran at several tracks in the tri-state area.  After a rookie season with mediocre car counts it switched to one track, Sundance Vacations Speedway from 2004 through 2006.  After a promoter change in 2007 the switch was made to move the series to Mahoning Valley Speedway.

Cutri called the 2008 year a rebuilding season and after only holding two events that year (at Grandview), he seems more than determined to make the full season for his series at the speedway successful.

“We already have plenty of pre-registrations coming in”, Cutri, proclaimed.  “That’s a great sign and the pre-registrations really help the NEETS officials as far a pre-event planning is concerned”.

Cutri asks of any racers that plan to run the 4 cyl. or 6/8 cyl. enduros in April to pre-register.

One thing that the series is lacking so far this season is single event, division and series sponsorship.  The promoters came up with a good plan to help promote anyone that might be interested in becoming a sponsor of the series.
