BECHTELSVILLE, PA February 28, 2009 . . . The tradition continues at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway when a free-to-the-public practice session kicks off the 47th consecutive season of professional auto racing on Saturday, March 28th at noon.
 “We are looking for the 2009 season to be another big one,” said track promoter Bruce Rogers. “We are coming off a great season and based on what we have been seeing and hearing during recent show appearances, we think this season will be even better. There is a lot of excitement being generated about the new season.”
 Rogers has released a schedule of events that includes a variety of attractions including the standard fare of NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models on most Saturday nights. Included in some Saturday night shows will be ARDC Midgets, URC Sprints, Legends, Sidewinders and more.
 Racers from the different divisions of competition will take part in the practice session.
 In addition there will be several Thunder on the Hill promotions, created by track owner Bruce Rogers and outside promoter Bob Miller, also featuring a variety of different attractions. The first Thunder event will take place on Wednesday, May 20th, with the Keystone Cup Speed Weeks Series featuring the 410 Sprints and 358 Modifieds. Racing will start at 7:30 p.m.
 The official season opener will take place on Saturday, April 4th with a 7 p.m. starting time. The NASCAR Modifieds will be featured in a 40 lap championship event along with a full show of Late Model stock car racing.
 Admission prices for regular Saturday night events will remain the same at $13 for adults and $5 for children 6 thru 11. Under 6 are admitted free. There is always free parking and fans are invited to bring their own food and refreshment or enjoy the many items available at the track concession stands at very reasonable prices.
