BECHTELSVILLE, PA January 14, 2011 . . It will be another busy season of auto racing at NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway in 2011. The 49th consecutive season of auto racing on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval located in Bechtelsville, PA will kick off with a free-to-the-public practice session on Saturday, March 26th. The noon time session will be open to all types of dirt track racing equipment.
Officially the season gets the green flag at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd when the NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modifieds and Late Models start their battles for the lucrative NASCAR and track titles which offer some attractive point fund money for the top performers at the end of the season.
Headlining the busy schedule will be the Forrest Rogers Memorial on August 13th. The $10,000 to win 50-lapper for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be sponsored by Pioneer Pole Buildings for the first time. The Late Models will also be part of the doubleheader show.
And on Saturday, September 17th the BPG Racing Freedom 76 for Modifieds will again offer at least $20,000 to win as a star studded array of dirt track racing talent will be on hand.
The Late Models will be featured in their biggest event of the season, the C.J. High & Associates LLC Firecracker 40, on Saturday, July 2nd. The NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be the second part of that show.
Again this season the Bob Miller/Bruce Rogers promoted Thunder on the Hill Series will offer a variety of special attractions as part of their midweek schedule of events. The first event will take place May 25th and feature the Keystone Cup 410 Sprints and 358 Modifieds.
And the NEETS Enduro events will again be part of the schedule of racing at Grandview Speedway. They will kick off their season on Sunday, April 3.

Season passes, including a reserved seat, covering all the Saturday night events is available for just $300 which is a considerable savings over individual event tickets. Season passes may be purchased by sending a check payable to Grandview Speedway, 87 Wilt Road, Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Please enclose a self addressed postage paid envelope to cover the return of the season pass.
The Berks County auto racing facility is located on Passmore Road in Bechtelsville, PA, just off Route 100, 10 miles north of Pottstown.
