NASCAR 358 MODIFIEDS AND LATE MODELS FEATURED IN WNPV-1440AM RADIO NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
Thursday, July 14, 2011

The racing at Grandview Speedway for the past four weeks or more has been just fantastics. Just ask the fans. This Saturday (July 16th) it is expected that WNPV-1440AM Night will be another great night of action for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models. Each division runs off a series of qualifying events topped by a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and 20-lap main event for the Late Models. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. Children 11 and under are admitted FREE. Adults pay just $14 for regular shows. More than 40 358 Modifieds try for the 28 starting spots in that division. And we get the show over, normally, within a three hour time frame. The leader of the Late Model feature will earn an extra $14.40 for each lap lead courtesy of Linda and Joe Moskal of WNPV-AM. And these two nice people, big supporters of racing at Grandview, will pay $40 to the 14th place finisher in the Modified feature and $40 for the leader of the 14th lap in the Modified feature. Close to $1000 worth of tickets for the Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono on August 7th will go to three lucky fans courtesy of WNPV Radio. And lots of great prizes are available to those buying copies of the Grandview Groove with great color shots on both the front and back covers. This week we feature John Favinger and Don Norris Jr. Great photographers provide great photos throughout the book and donít forget to check out the pit notes. The BPG Racing Pick 3 Contest is now worth $300. And some of the lucky program books offers winners two tickets to the August 6th ARCA/NASCAR Truck doubleheader at Pocono. PLAN TO ATTEND ON SATURDAY, July 30th when the Pepsi/Bashore Trucking Challenge will be presented for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds. The top 11 in the point standings, in attendance that night, will get to take part in the one-on-one challenge with the winner earning $1,500. The low point man will get to kick things off that night by picking the first racer he wants to challenge. In addition there will be a full slate of NASCAR 358 Modified and Late Model stock car racing. For information telephone 610.754.7688 or check in at www.grandviewspeedway.com
