Sportsman added, Season tickets available and the Reading Fairgrounds Mall show is set and is looking for former drivers, etc.
A BIG THANK YOU, from the Rogers family, goes out to all the racers, employees, officials, sponsors, and media for all the support that was given Grandview Speedway in 2011. We look forward to having all of you with us in 2012 with a very busy schedule being planned.
Most of you know that Sportsman will be added to the regular Saturday night show of 358 Modifieds and Late Models for the new season. It is going to be an exciting year as we welcome the Sportsman and celebrate the 50th anniversary season. Think about this, a $50,000 to win BPG Racing Freedom 76 for the modifieds on September 15th.
Of course there are still a lot of details to be finalized regarding the Sportsman at Grandview. A full release with all details should be ready right after the New Year. Grandview will be part of the Motorsports 2012 presented by SEF Small Engine Fuels Race Car and Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA, January 20-22nd. Check for updated information, ticket prices and a schedule of events at www.aarn.com
or telephone 609.888.3618.
TICKET PRICES. For those concerned about TICKET PRICES, adult admission for regular Saturday night shows will be $15, an increase of $1. For youngsters up to and including the age of 12 admission will be FREE.
Saturday night racing will continue to be sanctioned by NASCAR so that means racers and crews will have to have a NASCAR membership to be in the pits.
FANS are reminded that season tickets, that can include a reserved seat, are available for just $325. That covers every Saturday night event including the Firecracker 40, the Forrest Rogers Memorial $10,000 to win 50-lapper for modifieds, and the BPG Racing Freedom 76. Call 610.754.7688. A season ticket means no standing in the ticket line and if you take advantage of the reserved seat you can show up anytime and your seat will be waiting for you.
