Sunday Small Cars on Radio
BECHTELSVILLE, NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman racing will be the big attraction at Grandview Speedway on Saturday (April 21) at 7 p.m.
All divisions will run qualifying events leading up to a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds with at least 28 cars taking the green, a 20 lap feature for the Sportsman and a 20 lap main event for the Late Models.
Salvage Transport is adding $100 for the Late Model feature winner making for a $1,000 pay day provided the winning car has a TP Trailers decal on both sides of the race car and are clearly visible.
Ron Kline, winner of the first two Late Model features of the season, will get an extra $50 from Jeff Teets and his Salvage Transport business if he can win for the third week in a row.
VP Racing Fuels has a $100 gift certificate for the Modified feature winner if the winner is running VP gas and has the VP decals on the car.
Adult admission is $15 while youngsters 12 and under are admitted FREE. Pit admission, with a NASCAR license, is $30. There is always free parking on the speedway grounds.
The first of the monthly Sunday Small Car Series takes place on Sunday (April 22nd) at 2 p.m. The racing action will feature the 270 and 600 cc Micros, Slingshots and 600 Modifieds.
According to Small Car Series promoter Pete Knappenberger fans are invited to bring their FM radios and listen to the action at 89.9FM.
Grandstands will open at noon with adults paying $5 while those under 16 will pay just $3. Children 5 and under are admitted FREE. Bring your adult admission ticket from the Saturday, April 21st event and you will get a $1 discount on an adult admission tick.

The pits will be open at 10 a.m. and admission will be $30. Those entering the pits must be at least 14 years old and bring a valid birth certificate as proof of age.
