CAN SOMEONE STOP HOWARD AT GRANDVIEW? T.P.TRAILERS TRIPLEHEADER FEATURES MODS, LATE MODELS AND SPORTSMAN
Thursday, June 07, 2012

BECHTELSVILLE, PA† Nine time track champion Jeff Strunk might just have been in victory lane last Saturday if it had not been for an unfortunate flat tire in the closing laps that sent him to the pits and sent NASCAR 358 Modified point leader to victory lane for the fifth time.
Strunk and the Norm Hansell owned Normís Save Station entry will be back this Saturday looking for that elusive first win of the season and the opportunity to keep Howard from winning his sixth NASCAR 358 Modified feature of the season at Grandview Speedway.
Of course there is a large number of racers that could challenge Howard for the win including six time champion Craig VonDohren, Doug Manmiller, Jon Kellner Sr., Mike Gular, and a host of others.
The Saturday, June 9th, T.P.Trailers of Limerick, PA sponsored night will include a full show of racing for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m. and will include at least 12 events of racing. Many lucky fans will go home with free T.P.Trailers tee shirts. And intermission always includes some great giveaway opportunities with victory lane announcer Pete Knappenberger.
DinaMarie will kick off the exciting night of racing with one of her wonderful renditions of the National Anthem.
The Sportsman stock cars, with David Dissinger as the point leader, will be using the night of racing to get ready for the big 40-lap feature that will be part of the Bashore Trucking/BRP Speciality Night on Saturday, June 16th. That race will be paying $1500 to win and is expected to attract a large field of Sportsman racers.
Adult admission for the regular Saturday night racing events is just $15 while young people 12 and under are admitted FREE. Active military in uniform are admitted FREE.
