BECHTELSVILLE, PA April 15, 2009 . . . Stock car racing action and even more fun for the kids will make up the Auto Locator Magazine sponsored night of excitement at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, April 18th starting at 7 p.m.
The NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Model stock cars, rained out last Saturday, will participate in a full series of qualifying events leading up to a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and 20-lap main event for the Late Models.
In addition the Virtual Essence Hair Design sponsored Easter Egg Hunt, also rained out last Saturday, will take place during the intermission with kids 11 and under participating. There will be more than 750 eggs for the kids to locate.
Duane Howard, who recently announced that he will be in weekly competition at Grandview throughout the season, will be looking for his second Modified win in a row. Chuck Schutz, the defending Late Model champion, will also be looking for a second straight Saturday night victory.
Adult tickets for the April 18th show will be $13 while kids, 6 thru 11, are admitted for $5 and under 6 get in FREE. There is always free parking on the grounds of the speedway and fans are invited to bring their own concessions (no glass bottles).
Jeff D’Ambrosio Dodge of Downingtown, PA will sponsor the NASCAR Modified and Late Model show on Saturday, April 25th while the second part of the two day racing weekend will be a NEETS Enduro being presented at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 26th at 2:30 p.m.
Each Saturday night at Grandview Speedway a fan stimulus program has fans winning McDonalds and Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards courtesy of Jeff Teets’ Salvage Transport Services and Cornerstone Auto Sales of Fleetwood, PA. In addition gas cards will go to lucky winners courtesy of Square One Markets and Bobby Gunther Walsh. And topping off the giveaways will be a $50 dinner certificate from the Pit Stop Restaurant in Boyertown, PA.
