BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 14, 2009 . . . With seven laps of the URC sprint car feature in the record books rain brought a halt to all the racing action at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.
The balance of the 25-lap sprint car feature and the 30-lap NASCAR 358 modified feature that was also rained out have been rescheduled to be part of the Saturday, July 25th show that will also include a full show of URC sprints and NASCAR modifieds. The late models and Speedstrs scheduled for that night have been cancelled.
Qualifying events for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series modifieds were won by Jeremy Banos, Addison Meitzler, Shawn Reimert and A.J. DeSantis while the consolation races went to Mike Gular and Jon Kellner Sr.
United Racing Company sprint qualifiers went to Scott Pursell, Johnathan Swanson and Chuck Palmucci. The consolation was won by Joe Zuczek.
There will be two shows of racing at Grandview Speedway this weekend. The NASCAR modifieds and late models will be in action on Saturday, June 20th, 7:30 p.m. The late models will run in a 30-lap Memorial race. In addition there will be one-on-one gauntlet races for the late models.
On Sunday, June 21st, 2:30 p.m., the NEETS Enduro racers will be compete with a 100-lap feature for the 4 cylinder racers and a 6/8 cylinder 100 lapper.
