TWO BIG SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWS COMING UP AT GRANDVIEW

BECHTELSVILLE, PA  Two of the biggest Saturday night events of the season will be taking place during the next two weekends at Grandview Speedway. Four feature races will top the program this Saturday, July 25th with the green flag scheduled to fall at 7 p.m., one half hour earlier than usual.
 Fans will have the opportunity to see two Rislone United Racing Company sprint car features which will have many of the top traveling sprint car racers seeing action on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval. And to make the stock car fans sit up and take notice the always exciting NASCAR 358 modifieds will be in action in two 30-lap features with Jeff Strunk, Duane Howard, Craig VonDohren and other top talents trying for wins.
 In addition to the features there will be qualifying events for each division leading up to the second features for both classes.
 The first URC feature will be the completion of a race started back on June 13th and will have seven laps completed. Adult admission is $20.
 Then on Saturday, August 1st, the 39th annual Forrest Rogers Memorial Classic for 358 modifieds is set to take place. The 50-lapper pays $10,000 to win and is expected to attract a stellar field of entries all seeking to win one of the most prestigious events in local stock car racing. Young Jason Hamilton will be on hand to defend his 2008 Forrest Rogers Memorial title. The late model stock cars will also be part of the doubleheader card of racing action. The show is set to start at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $20.
 The Forrest Rogers Memorial Classic, run on the first Saturday in August for many years, will have a rain date of Saturday, August 8th.
 In between the two events will be the Sunday, July 26th NEETS Enduro events set for a 2:30 p.m. start. Featured for 150 lap events for the 4 cylinder racers and the 6/8 cylinder racers.
 Coming up on Saturday, September 12th is the biggest stock car racing event of the season, the BPG Racing Freedom 76. The race pays $20,000 plus to win. Lap sponsorships are now available at $10.00 each with laps 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 available for $25. The 38th lap goes for $100. Each lap sponsorship is listed in the special souvenir edition of the Grandview Groove track magazine and is announced on the public address system.
