BECHTELSVILLE, PA. ? There was a chill in the air on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, but the fans that braved the elements were treated to hot and heavy side-by-side racing in the 358-modified division.

Craig Von Dohren, who took a year hiatus from victory lane at the 1/3-mile oval, started 15th and overtook Brad Grim on the 19th lap of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series 30-lap modified feature.

Von Dohren then threated his way through the lap traffic, some that ignored the move-over flag as they were racing for positions in the back, and later held off the persistent challenges of Frank Cozze once Cozze closed in on him to post back-to-back victories. Von Dohren earned $2750 for the win, $250 of it from TP Trailers, Limerick. In addition to the top prize money, on Dohren also received the Bobby Gunther-Walsh and sponsors Hard Charger Award and $150 worth of products from VP Racing Fuels for running gas. Von Dohren thanked everyone who helps on his self-owned No. 1C sponsored by BFP Specialties/Pioneer Pole Builders plus a host of others and especially crew chief Jason Bashore.

Brad Grim wasted no time taking the lead away from Jason Clauss on the initial green.

While Grim showed the way in the Jim Reid-owned No. 611 for the second week in a row, Clauss, Shawn Reimert, Jarrad Miller and Eric Biehn diced for the remaining positions.

Kyle Follweiler brought out the first caution with four laps completed when he was spun on the backstretch while trying to pull into the infield with a flat tire. It was still Grim in first on the restart.
