Bechtelsville, Pa. ? Up until Saturday night at Grandview Speedway there were five different 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series modified feature winners. Craig Von Dohren changed the status on that. The Oley-based leadfoot started 10th in the main event sponsored by Checkered Flag Fan Club, overtook Jason Hamilton on the 20th lap and went on to capture his second feature victory at the 1/3-mile oval by a

healthy margin.

Hamilton, behind the wheel of the Beer City No. 15, quickly went from third to first at the drop of the green and it didn?t take him long to pull away from the pack leaving Mike Laise, Sean Merkel, Don Norris Jr. and John Willman take chase.

Willman, who won the opening night event, advanced to second by the ninth lap and tried to close in on Hamilton who was several car lengths ahead.

The order behind Hamilton by the Dan?s Deli 1/2-way mark was comprised of Willman, Merkel, Norris Jr. and Von Dohren.

The field regrouped on the 18th lap when Danny Erb, who had a strong second-place finish last week, stopped in the fourth turn with a flat tire. Hamilton kept the pace on the restart, but now Von Dohren put the Felty Farms No. 1C into the runner-up spot to challenge him for the lead. The top spot was exchanged on the 20th lap as Von Dohren was on the move and charged to the outside of Hamilton and into first.

In a matter of laps Von Dohren checked out while Hamilton, Norris Jr., Merkel and Willman battled for the remaining positions.

Von Dohren?s sizeable lead was erased by a four-car first turn tang
