GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY RAINED OUT FOR THIRD STRAIGHT SATURDAY U.S.ARMY COMING TO GRANDVIEW JUNE 14TH

BECHTELSVILLE, PA JUNE 7, 2003 . . . Even the ducks are disgusted with all the rain. And the guy building the arc has given up because the weather is just too wet. For the third straight Saturday and fourth time this season rain (drizzle, sprinkle, poured, spit, showered) forced cancellation of the Zuber Realty Co. sponsored doubleheader show of United Racing Club sprints and NASCAR Modifieds at Grandview Speedway.

No new date has been announced for the return of the URC sprints for a Saturday night show and officials are trying to find an open date so the Zuber Realty Co. Night can be rescheduled.

“The folks at Zuber Realty were really excited about their first sponsored night. They had t-shirts to toss to the fans and coolers for lucky winners along with sweatshirts. It was going to be a fun night. We are working to reschedule their night,” said event organizer Bruce Rogers. “We really hated losing this show. The sprints and modifieds always put on a great show and it does draw a good crowd. Hopefully we can reschedule the show for later in the season.”

This Saturday night, June 14th, the U.S. Army will be at Grandview Speedway. Fans will be able to enlist right at the track. And with the U.S.Army sponsoring the night of racing, fans could be in for some surprise activities. The NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series action will include the NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models, at least 13 events of stock car racing. Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m.

And on Saturday, June 21st, Deka Batteries will host the night of racing. Again the Modifieds and Late Models will headline the action. And Decal will have some nice prizes for lucky fans in the stands.

As usual fans attending the Saturday night events, when it is not raining, have an opportunity to win a seat in the two-seat modified stock car and, perhaps, have it driven by their favorite Grandview racer.

Grandview Speedway is located on Pass more Road, just off Route 100, 10 miles north of Pottstown, in Bechtelsville, PA. For information telephone 610.754.7688 or visit their website at www.grandviewspeedway.com.
