BECHTELSVILLE, PA. ? Duane Howard continued his win streak
on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway when he chalked ups his fifth in a row 30-lap
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modified feature sponsored by TP Trailers.
Howard also received an additional $250 from TP Trailers.

Howard, the reigning point champion and current point
leader accomplished this same feat in 2010 when he won a total of eight
features. The only other modified drivers to make it five-in-a-row were Warren
Mutter in 1968 and Fred Rahmer in 1981.

Polesitter Mark Kratz set the early pace for two laps
before he lost a wheel and spun in the first turn bringing out the yellow.
Craig Von Dohren and Doug Manmiller were also collected, but after a quick pit
stop the two rejoined the race.

The new race leader on the restart was Justin Grim with
rookie Tim Buckwalter, Meme DeSantis, Jason Clauss and Howard pressuring him.

DeSantis charged to the front of the grid on the sixth lap
to take command in the Harvey Beitler-owned No. 88D.

The race was red-flagged on the seventh lap after Clauss
brushed the backstretch wall and flipped with several others involved. A few
feet back Manmiller did a slow roll. Manmiller continued, however Clauss, Mike
Gular and Don Norris Jr. were towed back to the pits. DeSantis continued to
show the way when action resumed.
