BECHTELSVILLE, PA. ? Five straight weeks of Duane Howard?s
feature dominance ended on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway when another
name broke into the win column in the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series
Modified feature. Meme DeSantis, the ?Temple Tornado? and opening night feature
winner, who feels he ?gave the last two features away,? did what he had to do
to keep runner-up Craig Von Dohren behind him in the closing laps to pull the
Harvey Bitler-owned/Nosteroids.com No. 88D into the winner?s circle for his
second win and a $2,750 with $250 from TP Trailers.

Jon Kellner Jr., who failed to qualify the previous week,
grabbed the early lead from the pole position on the initial green trailed by
Todd Smith, Andy Ressler, Mike Laise and Chris Esposito.

A first turn tangle by Jordan Umbenhauer and Addison
Meitzler brought out the first yellow on the fourth lap. The restart was void
since Don Norris Jr. was spun into the second turn infield. Kellner Jr. kept
his momentum going on the restart, but now the battle for second through fifth
brewed between Esposito, Ron Seltmann Jr., Smith and Terry Meitzler. Jon
Kellner tried to get into a top five spot and did so on the sixth lap.

A duel for first developed between son and father by the
13th lap and at the Dan?s Deli ? mark Kellner motored ahead of Jr.

With Kellner now in command, Kellner Jr., Esposito,
DeSantis and T. Meitzler diced for positions.

DeSantis, 13th-place starter, overtook second on the 23rd
lap and his next mission was the lead.
