TRIPLEHEADER STOCK CAR RACING ACTION RETURNS TO GRANDVIEW SATURDAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA
~ The close point battle between point leader Duane Howard and
challenger Craig VonDohren continues as NASCAR Whelen All American 358 Modifieds
are back in action this Saturday, July 13th at Grandview Speedway. So
far this season Howard, the defending champion, has been to victory lane six
times while VonDohren, a six time track champion, has won four feature races
including last Saturday?s. The season is now well into the second half and could
see talents such as Jeff Strunk, Meme DeSantis, Frank Cozze, Doug Manmiller and
others make a charge toward the championship.

 In addition to the excitement
created by the Howard/VonDohren and others title battle, the Sportsman stock
cars will return after a week off. Jared Umbenhauer is the point leader and has
tallied three feature wins this season. He is the defending champion of the
Sportsman division. Chuck Schutz has a healthy point lead in the Late Model
division and the six time champion and defending champ will be looking for his
fourth feature win for the season.

 At least 14 events of racing
featuring close to 90 race cars will be included in the Saturday night  action being sponsored by Whelen Engineering
and getting started at 7:30 p.m. Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. and a driver
meet and greet will take place at the same time. Adult admission is $15 while
youngsters 12 and under will be admitted free. Active military are admitted FREE
when displaying a valid current military ID.

 On Sunday, July 14th, the
Outlaw Enduro racing action returns along with Blast from the Past Vintage Cars.
Action gets the green at 1 p.m. Adult admission is just $10 while youngsters
under 12 are admitted free and are eligible to win the opportunity to be the
honorary starter for one of the Enduro races.
