AUGUST 21, 2013 . . . Just three Saturday nights of battling for the NASCAR
point championships at Grandview Speedway remain in the 2013
season.

 This Saturday, August 24, the NASCAR
358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sportsman racers are in action with at least 12
events of stock car racing action being featured starting at 7:30 p.m. RCN Night
will see the chase for the championships continue in all three divisions with
many racers trying to gain a top ten finish in final 2013 standings which will
reward them with lucrative point fund checks from both the track and
NASCAR.

 The closest point battle has six
time champion and current point leader Chuck Schutz just 35 points in front of
challenger Jason Miller in the Late Model division. Current point leader Craig
VonDohren holds the top spot in the NASCAR 358 Modifieds with Duane Howard and
Jeff Strunk second and third in the standings. Jared Umbenhauer has a
comfortable lead in the battle for his second straight Sportsman
title.

 Gates for spectators open at 5:30
p.m. with adult admission costing just $15 while youngsters 12 and under being
admitted free. A Meet and Greet featuring three drivers representing all three
divisions of competition takes place at 5:30 p.m. at the main
entrance.

 Advance tickets for the September
14th BPG Racing Freedom 76 Modified Classic, paying $25,000 plus to
the winner, will be on sale at the track office starting on
Saturday.

 Action returns to the
one-third-mile, banked clay track on Sunday (August 25) at 7 p.m. when the TSRS
305 Sprints are featured for the first time. More than three dozen of the
exciting sprint cars are expected. The open Sportsman racers will make up the
second part of the night for this special Sunday racing
show.
