BIG EVENT FOR BRC LATE MODELS IS THE CHAPMAN AUTO FIRECRACKER 40 TONIGHT; FIREWORKS DISPLAY INCLUDED ALONG WITH TP TRAILERS MODIFIEDS AND SPORTSMANGrandview PR
Current point leader and defending champion Chuck Schutz will head up a strong field of racers that will include Brian Shuey, Lou Egrie Sr. and Jr., Ron Kline, Geezer Fanelli and others as they take part in the big event of the season for the BRC Late Models, the Firecracker 40 being sponsored by Chapman Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership in Horsham, PA. They are the No. 1 Volume Dealer in the Philadelphia Region. In addition to the Late Models racing for increased prize money and the prestige of winning the big one, the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds will feature Jeff Strunk, Craig VonDohren and Mike Gular battling for the top point position. And the Sportsman will top off the action packed night of racing that offers at least 12 events of exciting NASCAR stock car racing. Topping off the night will be the annual FIREWORKS display.
And the Late Model racers will be featured in the weekly Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet. One of the rising stars of NASCAR Late Models Dan Green will be part of the opportunity for fans to meet the drivers, take pictures and collect autographs. Veteran racer, former champion, Lou Egrie Sr. will be there along with talented Drew Weiser. All drivers will have their cars on display at 5 p.m. in an area very close to the main gate.
All the activities on this night, Saturday, get underway at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission for the three divisions of NASCAR stock car racing and a great FIREWORKS display is $25 with kids 6 thru 11 admitted for $5 while children under six admitted for free. Main gates open at 5:30 p.m.
RCN-TV will be on hand to record all the Saturday action for showing in two segments at the end of the following week. And the TV cameras will be back on July 30th for WNPV-1440AM Radio Night and for the Pioneer Pole Buildings Forrest Rogers Memorial on August 13th.
