BUSY MONTH OF JULY OFFERS A VARIETY OF AUTO RACING EVENTS

COMPETITION HAS BEEN INTENSE IN RECENT WEEKS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA JUNE 26, 2007 . . . There has been some intense racing action at the NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, PA in recent weeks.
 The Berks County clay oval prides itself on the exciting auto racing events that they have offered over the years and that excitement will continue during July.
 In recent weeks fans have been treated to the first time appearance of United States Auto Club wingless sprint cars and American Racing Drivers Club wingless midgets. A huge crowd was on hand to see the close finishes in those events.
 Saturday night stock car racing action has seen current point leader Duane Howard grab a win away from Danny Erb in final lap action. On that same night Josh Weller earned his first career United Racing Company sprint car victory in a close run to the checkered flag. And just last Saturday night six-time champion Craig VonDohren topped five-time champion Jeff Strunk and multi-time champion/current point leader Duane Howard in a down to the wire event.
 In addition the NASCAR Late Models have offered some crowd pleasing entertainment. With the return of all time leading feature winner Jon Kellner Sr. and fan favorite Harry Neiman the action should be turned up a notch.
 On Tuesday, July 3rd, BPG Racing will sponsor a doubleheader show of racing action as part of the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek Series. The 410-sprint cars and the 358-modifieds will be in action. Both are excitement producing events.
 Fireworks, not just the kind fans see on the track but real fireworks, will be part of the Norris Mechanical Contractors Night on July 7th. Headlining that event will be the Firecracker 40 for Late Models and a full show of NASCAR Modifieds.
 Maverick?s Motorcycle Club Night is set for July 14th with the NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models in action.
 The fan favorite Thunder on the Hill Racing Series continues on Tuesday, July 18th featuring the 100-lap Traffic Jam for DIRT Modifieds and Garden State Vintage Stock Cars. Fans coming out with a Grandview, New Egypt Speedway or Bridgeport Speedway t-shirt will get an extra $2.00 off on their ticket as part of FAN FUN.
 Jesse Baro Trucking Night will feature the NASCAR Modifieds, Late Models and Legends cars on Saturday, July 21.
 The month of July closes out with Zuber Realty Night on the 28th featuring the Modifieds, Late Models and Xcel 600 Modifieds.
 All racing events have a 7:30 p.m. starting time.
 New is the opportunity for early arriving fans to have the opportunity to win a chance to flag the warm-up session for the NASCAR modifieds on Saturday nights. The fan with the lucky rain check climbs into the starter?s stand and gets to feel the thrill of waving the various flags and controlling the on track action.
