GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY QUICK RESULTS FROM SATURDAY, June 17, 2017

BRETT KRESSLEY EARNS FIRST TP TRAILERS MODIFIED FEATURE OF THE SEASON AT GRANDVIEW, KLINE BECOMES FOUR TIME LATE MODEL WINNER AND LISOWSKI WINS SPORTSMAN FOR FIRST TIME

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 17, 2017 . . .Brett Kressley has been having a tough season but things went his way on Saturday night as he won the 30-lap TP Trailers 358 Modified feature becoming the 19th different feature winner of the season at Grandview Speedway. Veteran BRC Late Model racer Ron Kline was able to take his fourth win of the season steering to victory in the 20-lap Late Model feature race. Mike Lisowski topped the field in the Sportsman 25-lap feature making him the 20thdifferent feature winner of the season.

                Duane Howard finished a strong second tightening the point battle with Craig VonDohren in the chase for the title. Mike Gular had another impressive showing with third followed by Kenny Gilmore and Jeff Strunk.

                Finishing second to Kline was Wayne Pfeil followed by Kyle Merkel. Brian Shuey tallied fourth while point leader Chuck Schutz came home fifth.

                Craig Whitmoyer finished second in the Sportsman feature with point leader Brian Hirthler getting third. Ryan Lilick and Paul Houseknecht grabbed fourth and fifth.

                Next on the schedule at Grandview is the first appearance of the new Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series. The 305 Sprint group will be part of the June 24th Bechtelsville Car Wash Night featuring the Sprints, TP Trailers 358 Modifieds and Sportsman. Heading up the expected strong contingent of Sprints will be Doylestown’s Tim Tanner who is coming off a big win at Delaware Int’l Speedway. And fans will be looking to see who will be the next racer to join the long list of feature winners so far this season. Adult admission for the special night will be $18. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m. And Bechtelsville Car Wash will also sponsor a Modified Cash Dash.
