On Friday, May 13th, the tape delayed coverage of stock car racing at the Berks County clay oval will expand being made available to RCN subscribers in a number of other Pennsylvania areas including Upper Darby Township, Lansdowne, Darby, Sharon Hill, Folcroft, Tinicum, Ridley Park, Prospect Park, Norwood, Eddystone, Glenolden, Ridley, Collingdale, Yeadon, Clifton Heights, Milborne, Media, Conshohocken and East Lansdowne.
?This is exciting news for all of us involved at Grandview Speedway. It gives our sport additional exposure to more fans of the sport and gives us the opportunity to create some new fans for stock car racing at Grandview,? said track promoter Bruce Rogers. ?It is also great for our racers who are seeking sponsorship support for their race teams. They can show businesses the additional TV exposure as another benefit of marketing through motorsports and sponsoring a race team at Grandview.?
At present the May 7th Harry?s U-Pull-It Auto Parts sponsored night of NASCAR Modified and Late Model stock car racing is being shown on the RCN outlets.
Viewers will have to check with local TV listings to find out exactly when the taped delayed broadcast is being offered.
The next event to be shown on the RCN network on a tape delayed basis will be the June 11th NASCAR Modified, 600 Modifieds, and United Racing Club sprint car tripleheader.
