Who will be the champions in the three divisions of stock car racing presented at Grandview Speedway? The decision will be made after just three more nights of point racing including tonight’s tripleheader show featuring the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. Henning’s Trains of Lansdale will be giving away Lionel Trains to some lucky youngsters in the stands.
Craig VonDohren, the current point leader in the Modifieds, is looking to defend his title. Chuck Schutz is leading the Late Model point chase and looking to add another title to his impressive resume. And Mike Lisowski leads the Sportsman standings and is looking for his first championship.
At 5 p.m. the weekly Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet takes place in the main gate area. Featured this week will be veteran Modified racer Ray Swinehart, rookie Sportsman talent Dylan Swinehart (a winner last Saturday), newcomer Sportsman racer Brian Papiez (winner of three features) and popular BRC Late Model racer Bill Henning.
At least 12 events of action packed racing will be presented starting at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Adult admission is $15 while youngsters under 12 are admitted free.
Tonight would be a great time to purchase your advance tickets for the 46th Annual Freedom 76 Classic set for September 10th. Adult advance tickets are $35 ($40 on race day), youngsters 6 through 11 pay $10 and kids under 6 are admitted free.
