STRUNK, WATT AND VONDOHREN MAKE UP BPG RACING/CHAD SINON MOTORSPORTS TEAM

BLUE BELL, PA NOVEMBER 17, 2005 . . . There is bad news for other Modified racers but great news for local racing fans. A current champion, a former champion and a possible future champion will make up the three car effort that car owner Chad Sinon will bring to NASCAR sanctioned Grandview Speedway in 2006.
Jeff Strunk, winner of five Modified titles at the Berks County clay oval, will be driving an all-new Teo Pro car. The Bethel, PA racer will be going after an unprecedented sixth Modified championship. 2006 will mark the fourth straight season that Sinon and Strunk have been together and the team has won three straight titles at Bechtelsville?s Grandview Speedway.
Five times champion Craig VonDohren, last a championship winner at Grandview in 2001, will be in a second BPG Racing/Chad Sinon Motorsports Teo Modified. Oley, PA based VonDohren is tied with Rick Schaffer as the all time leading feature winner at Grandview with 51 victories. Second in the final standings for the NASCAR Modifieds in 2005, VonDohren will be looking to unseat Strunk in the chase for the lucrative track title.
The third member of the three-car Modified team will be rising young star Ryan Watt. The Boyertown, PA racer had a feature win in 2005 and finished in the top ten in the final NASCAR Modified point standings. The young racer will be looking to be a serious contender for feature wins and the track championship driving the BPG Racing/Chad Sinon Motorsports Teo Modified.
?We have the makings of what we feel is the strongest Championship Chase effort ever fielded at Grandview Speedway by one car owner. I think we will be tough to beat,? said Chad Sinon, a successful Blue Bell, PA businessperson. ?This will be my final season as a car owner and I wanted to go out with a big finish. Perhaps we can win many features and finish 1-2-3 in the chase for the title. I will not even venture a guess as to who will finish where. And there is certainly a strong possibility that one of them could earn a NASCAR Divisional championship.?
Fans may rest assured that there will be additional racing plans announced in the near future as soon as schedules are completed with several tracks and sanctioning organizations.
Sponsorship for the three car team at Grandview Speedway will come from a variety of well known companies in the industry and some local businesses. Included are Barringer Associates Real Estate and Insurance Services, Stauffer Construction, Ristorante San Marco, Teo Fabrications, MAIN Racing Engines, Morrison Performance, Penske Racing Shocks, ISC Racers Tape, Litech Systems, Baker Carburetion, Bair Wheel Repair, Weikel Racewear and Simpson.
Of course the BPG Racing and Chad Sinon Motorsports names will be prominent on all the race cars.
Strunk and Sinon will be honored as the Grandview Speedway NASCAR Modified championship team at the annual awards banquet being held on December 17th at the Kutztown, PA Fire Hall. Strunk will collect more than $22,000 for his championship winning effort in the Sinon owned Modified.
Grandview Speedway, a NASCAR sanctioned one-third-mile banked clay track, located in Bechtelsville, PA will kick off their 2006 season on Saturday, April 1st with a 7 p.m. show featuring Modifieds and Late Models. A free-to-the-public practice session will be presented at 12 noon on March 25th.
