THE CRANKSHAFT RULE WILL REMAIN AS POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE

Some questions concerning the crankshaft rule have surfaced. The crankshaft rule as stated in the 2007 rules posted on this website is correct. Lightweight crankshafts are not permitted. We will inspect the crankshaft, through the one inch pipe plug in the oil pan, per the track rules. A DIRT Brodix Spec engine on gasoline and 650CFM carburetor is permitted, just as it was for the 2006 Freedom 76. This is not currently spelled out in the 2007 rules but that addition will be addressed.

Questions regarding this release and anything relating to technical issues at Grandview should be directed to Mike Kelly at kellymi@ptd.net or at the speedway.

Thank you.
