IT IS TIME FOR THE BIG ONE, THE 47TH ANNUAL FREEDOM 76 MODIFIED CLASSIC IN HONOR OF BRUCE ROGERS TAKES PLACE TONIGHT; MORE THAN $30,000 WAITING FOR THE WINNER

Bright and early this morning dozens of Modifieds will be making their way into the Grandview Speedway pit area to be inspected. Activities start with pit gates open at 9 a.m. Competitors must be registered by 4 p.m. while competitors will draw for starting positions at 4:30 p.m. A drivers meeting is set for 5:15 p.m. with warm-ups at 6 p.m.

Many of the top names in dirt track Modified racing are entered with Craig VonDohren, Jeff Strunk and Mike Gular listed as guaranteed starters.

Adult tickets are $40. Youngsters 6 through 11 pay $10 and kids under 6 are admitted free. Pit passes are $45 with no license required.

Advance ticketholders will be admitted at 3 p.m. with ticket windows open at 3:30 p.m. Racing gets the green at 7 p.m. A full slate of qualifying events, the Pioneer Metal Roofing Cash Dash, Schaefer Motorsports Minuteman 20 leading up to the grand finale the $30,000 to win Freedom 76.

Parking and camping is available on the speedway grounds. Some areas, not on the speedway grounds, will have fees.
