BECHTELSVILLE, PA?~ The April showers continued at Grandview Speedway forcing track owner Bruce Rogers to cancel his second straight Saturday night show of auto racing.
?NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Late Models and Sidewinder Sprints were scheduled for the tripleheader show. The Sidewinder Sprints are scheduled to return in September and if an open date can be found it just may be possible to reschedule the rained out event.
?Auto Locator Magazine Night on Saturday, April 30th, 7 p.m. closes out the April schedule of events with the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models being featured.
?A 30-lap feature for the Modifieds and a 20-lap feature for the Late Models will top off the program once all the qualifying events have been completed.
?The Sunday, May 1, 1 p.m. tripleheader show will feature the NEETS Enduros, Outlaw Slingshots and Vintage Mods. The Enduros will run a 100-lapper for the Big Cars and a 100-lapper for the Small Cars and there will be a 50-lapper for the ladies in honor of Mom?s Day. Admission is just $10.
?Coming up on Saturday, May 7, will be a doubleheader for the NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Late Models. Racing will start at the new starting time of 7:30 p.m. with spectator gates opening at 5:30 p.m. RCN-TV will be filming the action for broadcast later in the week.
