Bechtelsville, Pa. ? Craig Von Dohren, a six-time point champion at Grandview Speedway who has had his share of misfortunes at the 1/3-mile oval, finally had Lady Luck riding with him on Saturday night.

The 20th lap of the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series modified feature saw leader Don Norris Jr. get caught behind the lap car of Kurt Spotts. Von Dohren took advantage of the opportunity to put the Mike Harvey-owned/Felty Farms/Stauffer Construction No. 1C into the lead as the pair went down the backstretch. Von Dohren continued his pace and went on to score his first win of the season and his 61st career victory at the track.
Todd Marburger led for two laps before Norris Jr. took over the top spot.
While Norris Jr. showed the way, Marburger, Todd Smith, Ryan Beltz and Brad Brightbill diced for the remaining positions.
Terry Meitzler, last week?s feature winner, brought out the yellow on the 12th lap when he stopped in the first turn. Duane Howard also pitted at this time. Both drivers rejoined the race.
Norris Jr. remained in front on the restart trailed by Marburger, Von Dohren, Doug Manmiller and Beltz.
Von Dohren put the Henry Sharman/Kauffman?s BBQ Chicken mount into second on the 14th lap and began to pressure Norris for the top spot. Norris Jr. ran the high side while Von Dohren stayed down low as the duo battled lap-after-lap with the lead never changing.
Lap traffic was told via radio that the leaders were approaching, but he didn?t heed the message. It hindered everyone in the later stages of the race, but it really affected leader Norris Jr. with Von Dohren right on his bumper. Norris Jr. was trapped behind the lap car that was in his lane and   Von Dohren?s quick maneuver powered the Main Racing Engines past Norris Jr.
Behind Von Dohren the battle for the positions brewed between Norris Jr., Manmiller, Kevin Hirthler and Jeff Strunk.
Kerry Kratz brought out the final caution on the 25th lap when he stopped in the second turn and was out of the race. Von Dohren held his position on the restart, but now Manmiller, Hirthler, Strunk and Norris Jr. completed the running order.
The lead never changed and Von Dohren pulled into victory lane for a well-deserved win chased across by Manmiller, Hirthler, Strunk, who stopped to congratulate Von Dohren in the winner?s circle, and Mike Gular, already a feature winner this season who came on strong in the end as he was the recipient of the Cornerstone Auto Sales Hard Charger Award. Sixth through tenth were Norris Jr., Marburger, Danny Erb, Stewart Friesen and Beltz.

Bechtelsville, PA ? Mike Kellner battled with leader Bryon Sipe for several laps during the 20-lap NASCAR  late model feature on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway trying the inside lane to pass him, but to no avail. As the pair came off the fourth turn to complete the 14th lap, Kellner moved to the high lane and this time it worked as Kellner was now the new leader. Kellner, who was eliminated on the first lap last week, never looked back and went on to claim his first win of the season.

Sipe wasted no time pulling away at the drop of the gr
