BECHTELSVILLE, PA. ? The wait for Jeff Strunk and the Vinny Salerno-owned/Kreizer Aluminum Wheels No. 4* to be in victory lane at Grandview Speedway is finally over. The newly-formed team endured 19 long weeks of various denials, but the nine-time Modified track chamion overcame steering issues again, without incident, and pulled into the winner?s circle for the first feature triumph of the year in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Modified 30-lap feature. The last time Strunk was in victory lane was when he won the 2012 Freedom 76 for a $50,000 payday. He also netted $250 from T.P. Trailers.

Rookie Andy Ressler grabbed the early lead at the drop of the green to set the pace for the 28-car starting grid.

Ressler had to survive numerous restarts in the early stages, but he proceeded to hold off all pursuers.

By the 10th lap Ressler had a slight advantage since Ray Swinehart and Jon Kellner were busy battling for second while Mike Laise and J. Strunk completed the top five.

Doug Manmiller, running seventh, found himself facing the wrong direction in the third turn with 14 laps completed bringing out the yellow.

On the Dan?s Deli ?-way hoagie award restart, Kellner charged past Swinehart and Ressler to take over the lead in search of his season second win.
