Bechtelsville, Pa. ? Glenn Strunk, younger brother of 8-time Grandview Speedway modified point champion Jeff Strunk, returned to racing action after a long hiatus from the sport thanks to the help of Jeff and Jeff?s car owner Vince Gagliardo. His debut was a bit shaky, but as time progressed he was back in the routine.

Saturday night in the final 30-lap modified feature of the regular season Glenn Strunk, who hasn?t been in victory lane at the 1/3-mile oval since August 25, 2001, put the Squeak powered No. 41C into the lead on the initial green and stayed there until the drop of the checkered. He held off the challenges of Mike Gular and later runner-up, teammate and brother Jeff Strunk for the win.

Behind G. Strunk ad the wave of the green battling for positions were Gular, 2010 point champion Duane Howard, Brad Missimer and Tommy Scheetz Jr. Ryan Grim joined the thick of the battle and advanced to fifth when Missimer dropped out of competition.

Robbie Boyer brought out the yellow on the eighth lap when he stopped along the backstretch. G. Strunk continued to be the pacesetter on the restart, but by this time second through fifth consisted of Gular, J. Strunk and Grim.

Debris on the track at the flagstand brought out the next caution period with 12 laps completed. G. Strunk maintained first o the restart with Gular trying to change the status while the battle was now for third between Howard and J. Strunk with Ryan Godown waiting in the wings for a slip-up.

Lap traffic came into the picture by the 21st lap and everyone had to use heads up driving.

J. Strunk overtook Gular for second on the 24th lap restart needed when Ray Swinehart stopped along the backstretch and now the battle with his brother began.

Howard started to fall off the pace and with four laps to go he pulled into the infield with a flat tire.
