ADVANCE TICKET RESERVATIONS OPEN FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 17 LEVAN MACHINE & TRUCK EQUIPMENT 3RD ANNUAL THUNDER CUP

BECHTELSVILLE, PA (JULY 9, 2017) – Two of the country’s most popular drivers head towards ‘The Hill’ in a special event of epic proportions.

When the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series heads to Grandview Speedway on Thursday, August 17, three-time NASCAR Cup Champion Tony Stewart and two-time Chili Bowl Nationals champion, Rico Abreu, will strap into a 410 sprint car and compete with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions — competing in a 35-lap, $5,000-to-win A-Main. Also on the card, the Sportsman division in a 25-Lap, $1,300-to-win Feature event.

General Admission tickets for the event are $30, Children (6-11) are $10, Kids 5 and Under are FREE!

Advance Tickets are available by filling out the form below, tickets can be picked-up and paid for on Thursday, August 17 after 4:00 PM. Reservations can be made until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, August 16. Advance ticket reservations allow fans access to the grandstand area at 4:30 PM — 30-minutes prior to the box office opening for General Admission ticket sales.

THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES EVENTS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events are held at Grandview Speedway, one of the most historic and celebrated dirt track venues in the Northeastern United States. Located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, Grandview Speedway is a one-third-mile, high-banked clay oval that has hosted continuous professional stock car racing since opening in 1963.

Built by Forrest Rogers and operated by the Rogers family for multiple generations, the speedway has become known for its exciting, close-quarters racing and deep roots in grassroots motorsports. The track features weekly competition in divisions such as Modifieds and Sportsman and hosts a variety of special events and touring series throughout the season.
