THE TRIPLE “ROARING 20’S” FOR MODIFIEDS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY  SUNDAY, MAY 30 JOINED BY SPORTSMAN & THE VINTAGE OUTLAW RACING SERIES

APRIL 25, 2021  Bechtelsville, PA     . . . . . . . . . . NAPA Auto Parts proudly presents the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Triple Roaring 20’s for modifieds, joined by the sportsman stock cars and the Vintage Outlaw Racing Series on Sunday night, May 30 at the Grandview Speedway.  Race time is set for 7:30 PM.   The triple 20’s format was introduced in 2020 and was a popular event for fans and competitors,  attracting a field of fifty modifieds.   The Roaring Triple 20’s is a favorite for the competitors with the rich payoff and the format is also popular for drivers looking to score  their first career modified win.  That was the case for Ryan Beltz who scored his first modified win in the October running of the triple 20’s as Kevin Hirthler and Duane Howard shared the triple 20’s victories.

After modified qualifying heat race action, the first of three modified features will take to the Grandview Speedway.  Each 20 lap Modified feature will pay $2,000 to the winner and with thanks to Pioneer Pole Buildings, a $2,500 bonus is posted to any driver who can sweep the three features.  A triple sweep would be worth $8,500.    If one driver wins two features, PPB will add an additional $500 in bonus money.   Each feature offers an attractive payoff  with $200 being paid just to start each feature.   Also on the program will be the sportsman, competing in a series of qualifying events leading up to a $1,300 to win 20 lap feature plus the first time showing of the Vintage Outlaw Racing Series.

The Triple Roaring 20’s event will allow both Big Block and 358 Modifieds to compete together in a unique rules package.  This special rules package is offered  to the regions modified drivers, with both American Racer and Hoosier tires allowed for competition, and either Big-Block or Spec Small-Block engines permitted. An event sheet with the complete payoff, rules, and details is available at www.thunderonthehillracingseries.com There is no entry fee but drivers must pre-enter to be eligible for the posted payoff and to draw. Drivers must pre-enter by  May 25th  by calling 443 513 4456.

On race night,  Sunday night, May 30,  the front gate will open at 5 PM with qualifying getting underway at 7:30 PM.  The pit gate will open at 2:30 PM.

Pioneer Pole Buildings is the premier builder of post frame buildings in PA, NJ, DE, MD, WV, VA and NY.   Pioneer was founded in 1998, and has since built their business and quality reputation on providing customers with top quality buildings at very competitive prices.    Pioneer Pole Buildings is located on South Route 183 in Schuylkill Haven, PA.  For more information, please call 888-448-2505 or visit their website at:

Qualifying for the Modifieds will determine the starting field with the top 12 finishers from the heat race events, drawing the top 12 starting positions in the opening feature.   The winner of the first and second feature will then draw an invert number of 8, 10 or 12.  This makes a sweep of the Pioneer Pole Buildings $2,500 bonus extremely possible.

For the Sunday, May 30  event, adult admission tickets are $25, Children 6 to 11 are $10, Children 5 and under will be admitted free. The pit fee is $40, and a license is not required.
