Triple Roaring 20’s for Modifieds Plus Sportsman and Vintage Outlaws at Grandview Sunday night, May 30 7:30 PM It’s time to get involved!

NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series. . . .

It’s time to be creative, the Roaring 20’s refers to the decade of the 1920’s when the United States enjoyed great economic prosperity, sometimes called the crazy years. Emphasizing the era of economic growth brought about new trends in lifestyle and culture. The Roaring 20’s also introduced some of the most notorious gangsters such as Al Capone (Scarface), John Dillinger, “Baby Face” Nelson, “Pretty Boy” Floyd, “Machine Gun” Kelly and of course, Bonnie and Clyde. For whatever reason, these names became household names and in many ways, the public saw these famous figures as heroes, that were often celebrated and admired, not scorned.

It’s time for you to come up with a “gangster name” for your favorite or, not so favorite modified driver! It’s all in fun so be creative, not insulting or nasty. We will use these names during the show Sunday night. If your gangster name is used, you could win tickets to the USAC Midget and Modified show on Tuesday night, August 3rd at 7:30 PM. Please provide your name and phone number along with the gangster name for your driver and send email to: fans@tothracing.com We will receive up to 6 PM on Sunday night, May 30.

Gates open at 5 PM. Modified and Sportsman heat race qualifying will start at 7:30. The show will highlight two Vintage Outlaw features, a 20 lap Sportsman feature paying $1,300 to win and the Triple Roaring 20’s for Modifieds, offering an $8,500 payoff for any driver who can sweep all three features. Each feature will pay $2,000 to win, the Pioneer Pole Buildings winners bonus will also offer $500 to any driver who can win two features. $600 is offered for starting all three modified features.

Adults tickets are $25, Children 6-11 $10 and Children 5 and under will be admitted for free. The pit fee is $40 and a license is not required.
