OPENING NIGHT OF THE USAC EASTERN STORM SET FOR GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY, USAC SPRINTS & MODIFIEDS IN TUESDAY NIGHT DOUBLEHEADER

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 13, 2021 . . . . . . The AMSOIL USAC Non-Wing National Sprint Car Series invades the Grandview Speedway this Tuesday night, June 15 for the opening of the EASTERN STORM and it all takes part in the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series. The USAC Sprints will complete in qualifying leading up to the $6,000 to win Jesse Hockett Classic joined in a full program of the 358 Modifieds, chasing a $3,000 payday to win their 30 lap feature. Gates open at 5 PM with race time set for 7:30 PM.

If you’ve never seen a USAC Non-Wing National Tour event, plan to be at Grandview Speedway Tuesday night, June 15. All eyes will be on Brady Bacon as he chases a fifth consecutive Thunder on the Hill USAC win. Bacon will be joined by the “Madman” Robert Ballou, Kevin Thomas, Jr., Tanner Thorson, Logan Seavey in the Baldwin #5, Briggs Danner, Jake Swanson, CJ Leary, Mark Smith, Chris Windom, Chase Johnson, Tim Buckwalter, Alex Bright and Steven Drevicki just to name a few.

The 358 Modifieds will share the spotlight with likely contenders for the event include red hot Brett Kressley, Craig VonDohren, Duane Howard, Jeff Strunk, Rick Laubach, Danny Bouc, Ryan Godown and Jared Umbenhauer.

Advance tickets are available by calling 443 513 4456. Please speak clearly and provide your first and last name and the number of tickets you need. Tickets may be paid for and picked up at the WILL CALL window on race night. Advance ticket holders may enter the grandstands at 4:30 PM. Advance tickets orders can be processed up to the day before the race. We apologize, but advance tickets will NOT be available on race day.

We ask that you bring exact change when purchasing your advance tickets, general admission tickets and Pit Passes. Adult admission tickets are $30, children 6 to 11 are $10 and children 5 and under will be admitted free. The Pit fee is $40 and a license is not required.

THUNDER ON THE HILL RACING SERIES EVENTS AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events are held at Grandview Speedway, one of the most historic and celebrated dirt track venues in the Northeastern United States. Located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, Grandview Speedway is a one-third-mile, high-banked clay oval that has hosted continuous professional stock car racing since opening in 1963.

Built by Forrest Rogers and operated by the Rogers family for multiple generations, the speedway has become known for its exciting, close-quarters racing and deep roots in grassroots motorsports.
