BECHTELSVILLE, PA?~ NASCAR 358 Modified racers at Grandview Speedway are already racing for a very healthy purse and now VP Racing Fuels is making it even better for those using their non-methanol fuels.
VP Racing Fuels has announced a contingency program that will give the NASCAR 358 Modified feature winner, using VP race gas, an additional $100. Add that to the normal $2500 first place money and an additional $250 for carrying TP Trailer decals on both sides of the car and the winner walks off with $2850.
?We?re known for making power and thanks to the great racers and engine builders in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region we?ve grown to become one of the most popular and successful brands in racing,? remarked Jim Kelly, VP?s Director of Racing Fuel Sales. ?Times are tough, things are expensive and we value our customers very much. To show our appreciation we are posting $100 gift certificates for the NASCAR 358 Modified feature winners who use VP?s non-methanol fuels at Grandview Speedway.
?The rules at Grandview give a 75 pound weight break to racers choosing to fuel with VP gas rather than alcohol and I think more and more teams will begin to understand that there are advantages to starting a race on VP gas.?
To qualify for the award, the winning NASCAR 358 Modified drivers must display a 5 x 7 inch VP decal clearly visible on both sides of the race car, wear a 3 x 4 inch VP patch on their driving suits, run a straight VP race gas and provide proof of purchase to receive their award certificate.
VP will be announcing additional programs in the near future.
Teams can contact Ernie Saxton, marketing director at Grandview, for more information or telephone Jim Kelly at 302.368.1500 or write to him at jimkelly@vpracingfuels.com.
