?It is going to be an exciting season at Grandview Speedway. We have quite a few new racers coming out to challenge Jeff Strunk, Craig VonDohren and our other veterans,? said track promoter Bruce Rogers. ?It would be a great day for fans to bring their friends who are not racing fans and let them see what short track auto racing is all about. Perhaps we can turn some of them into regular fans.?
The practice session will start at 12 noon.
This will be the final opportunity that NASCAR Modified and Late Model racers will have to make adjustments to their equipment as the season officially gets the green flag on Saturday, April 5th at 7 pm.
The NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models will be part of a doubleheader show that will include a full series of qualifying events leading up to a 40-lap feature for the Modifieds ($3,000 to win) and the More Money 20 for Late Models. This will be the 46th consecutive season of stock car racing at the Bechtelsville clay oval.
