BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 24, 2006 . . . For the fifth time this season rain washed out the scheduled NASCAR stock car racing program at Grandview Speedway on Saturday night.
 The WNPV-AM Radio sponsored night of racing, including NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models, will be rescheduled for a later date in the season if at all possible. ?We have all of our events pretty much sponsored for the balance of the season,? said track promoter Bruce Rogers.  ?However WNPV is a strong supporter of racing at Grandview so we want to make it happen.?
 NASCAR stock car racing will return to the one-third-mile, banked clay oval on Saturday, July 1st with a special Holiday show. The 7:30 p.m. show will include the NASCAR Late Models in their biggest event of the season, the Firecracker 40, the NASCAR Modifieds along with a great Fireworks show. Honored guest for the night will be Johnauhan Rowe who is just returning from a tour of duty in Iraq. Rowe will be the honorary starter. 
 Meme DeSantis (Temple) is just a slim four points in front of Jon Kellner (Lansdale) and nine points in front of Doug Manmiller (Wyomissing) in the chase for the lucrative Modified championship. The champion earns well over $10,000 in point fund money and a cruise for two, cover 10 days, to six different Caribbean islands valued in excess of $3,000. In the Late Model division defending titleholder Ron Kline (East Greenville) has 1928 points compared to Pottstown?s Randy Stoudt with 1901 counters.
  Jeff D?Ambrosio Dodge of Downingtown, PA, the dealership that provides the track pace vehicle, will sponsor the July 8th show that will feature the Modifieds, Late Models and Legends cars.
 Other events during July at Grandview Speedway include USG Sheetrock Night featuring the NASCAR Modifieds and Late Models on July 15th, the DIRT Super Series Big Block Modifieds in a 100 lap event on July 19th, Hatfield Quality Meats Night showcasing Modifieds and Late Models on July 22nd and on July 29th it will be 3M Night presented by Jesse Baro Trucking with the Modifieds and Late Models in the spotlight.
 A big event for the NASCAR Modifieds is set for Saturday, August 5th when the Stauffer Construction Forrest Rogers Memorial is presented. The 50-lap championship race will pay $10,000 to the winner. The Late Models will also be included as part of the big event.
 Lap sponsorships are available for the Stauffer Construction Forrest Rogers Memorial with all laps, except for 1, 10, 20, 30 and 40, going for $10 each. The other laps are available for $25 each. All lap sponsors will be listed in the track magazine for that event and will be announced on the public address system.
